JSW Group allows 50% of its employees to ‘work from home’ in Mumbai

JSW Group said on Thursday 6 December that 50 percent of its employees in its Mumbai offices are working from home. The company said that in view of the increasing cases of corona virus and its variants in Maharashtra and keeping in mind the health and safety of the employees, this decision has been taken.

JSW Group is headquartered in Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Apart from this, it also has offices in Navi Mumbai, South Mumbai, Kalina and Nariman Point. The $13 billion corporate conglomerate headed by industrialist Sajjan Jindal has a presence in various sectors including steel, energy, infrastructure, cement, paint, venture capital and sports.

In the last one day, 495 cases of Omicron variants were found.

On Thursday, India reported the highest number of 495 new cases of the new variant ‘Omicron’ in a single day, taking the number of cases of infection with this variant to 2,630. This information was given in the data of the Union Health Ministry. Out of the total cases of Omicron variant, Maharashtra reported the maximum 797 cases, followed by Delhi 465, Rajasthan 236, Kerala 234, Karnataka 226, Gujarat 204 and Tamil Nadu 121.
