For the people of Mumbai, the journey between Navi Mumbai and South Mumbai is going to be easier from this month (January). From this month, people of Mumbai will be able to travel between Navi Mumbai to South Mumbai by water taxi. It is believed that the hourly journey of Belapur, JNPT and Nerul can be covered in minutes. The fare of water taxi from Navi Mumbai to South Mumbai will be between 200-700 rupees. Infinity Harbor Services Company claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the water taxi service this month.

Giving information about the routes of water taxis, the company said that these taxis will run from Domestic Cruise Terminal (DCT) to Nerul, Belapur, Vashi, Airoli, Rewas, Karanja, Dharamtar and Kanhoji Agare Island, Belapur to Thane and Gateway of India, Vashi to Thane. and will run on the Gateway of India route. The company said that the common passengers traveling between Navi Mumbai to South Mumbai will get rid of the problem of traffic jam.

Gurpreet Bakshi, Partner, Infinity Harbor Services, said that the water taxis will take around 30 minutes to complete a journey, which will significantly reduce the travel time between about 30 km. Another partner of the company claimed that the specialty of this water taxi is that it can run in all weather, and it is fully air-conditioned.
