ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday stayed the execution of a court order while hearing a review petition filed against its earlier decision regarding eviction of private educational institutions from residential areas in 42 cantonment board areas across the country. Notices have been issued to the cantonment boards. A three-member bench headed by Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan heard the case on Wednesday. Hamid Khan, a lawyer representing parents of 3.7 million children studying in private educational institutions, argued that the case was about building a school on a residential plot in the Kent area but in a civil case. This strict order has been issued without hearing the position of all parties.
