Pashinyan assures Putin that Armenia will hold online summit as CSTO chairman

Today, during telephone conversations between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Kazakhstan, which is “calming down and stabilizing.” This was reported by the Kremlin press service.

According to the source, the leaders of Russia, Belarus and Armenia approved the proposal of the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Toka to hold a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in the near future via video conference.

“Nikol Pashinyan stated that the Armenian side, as the current CSTO chairman, will organize the event,” the Kremlin said in a statement.
