Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka’s participation in the ongoing warm-up tournament in Australia has made her participation in the Grand Slam doubtful.
Former world number one Naomi Osaka reached the semi-finals of the warm-up tournament in Melbourne, Australia.
Naomi Osaka said on her social media account that the injury was minor and that she did not want to take any risks.

Naomi said she wanted to prepare for the Australian Open, which starts on January 17.
Naomi said she would be back on the tennis court soon.
Naomi Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam winner, was upset by unknown player Leila Fernandez in the third round of the US Open last year.
Nomi Osaka also reached the world No. 1 position two years ago and is currently ranked 13th in the world tennis rankings.
