Statement of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah regarding Corona virus situation

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has given a statement regarding the situation of Corona virus.

Murad Ali Shah said in a statement that 14868 samples have been tested in Sindh in last 24 hours and 938 new cases have been reported in 24 hours.

He said that 3 more patients have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 7681.

He said that today 107 more patients have recovered after which the total number of recovered persons has reached 468665.

Murad Ali Shah said that so far 7242318 samples have been tested and so far 485422 cases have been reported in the province.

He said that 9076 patients are currently undergoing treatment. 8817 homes, 110 isolation centers and 149 patients are being treated in various hospitals.

The Chief Minister Sindh said that the condition of 142 patients has been declared critical and 11 patients are on ventilators.

Murad Ali Shah said that out of 938 new cases in the province, 759 are related to Karachi. District East 281, South District 246, Central District 149, Korangi 55, West District 19 and Malir 9 new cases have been reported.

He said that Hyderabad 27, Thatta 24, Tando Allahyar 15, Nowshero Feroze 14, Matiari 13, Sujawal 11, Jamshoro 10, Dadu 7, Tharparkar 6, Ghotki and Shaheed Benazirabad 5. 5, Jacobabad, Umerkot, Sanghar and Larkana 4.4, Badin and Mirpur Khas 3.3, Khairpur and Sukkur 2.2 and Shikarpur 1 new cases have come to light.

He further said that 179475 persons have been vaccinated in last 24 hours and so far 30470881 persons have been vaccinated.
