  • Skill development is very important in the era of digital transformation
  • Availability of opportunities in the private sectors and freelance
  • Large companies had to run internship and training programs

New Delhi:

A large number of people have lost their jobs due to the third consecutive wave of the Corona epidemic and the ongoing restrictions during the rapid transition of Omicron. Meanwhile, government and non-government efforts to increase the hope of people through online employment and skill development have also intensified. Writers community started to protect freelancers from scams and give them employment sitting at home. Freelancers have now started their efforts to connect villages with skill development as well as provide employment to people.

Ankit Dev Arpan, founder of the Writers’ Community, said that even though the country is going through a crisis of unemployment, it does not mean that all employment opportunities have been lost. We have availability of opportunities in private sectors and freelance, but due to lack of skills, especially the youth of the village are not getting employment. A few days ago, companies like Infosys and TCS had given employment opportunities to everyone. He said that due to lack of skills, now these companies have to run internship programs and training programs, so that people can be prepared for employment first.

Focus on the eastern states of the country

According to Arpan, talking about some areas of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Assam and Uttar Pradesh, people here have degrees, but they have only a nominal knowledge of technology. Now is the time for digital transformation. So it is wise to keep up with the times. In such a situation, skill development is very important. He told that the Writers’ Community has decided that from March-April, it will visit villages in Bihar to make people aware of all digital opportunities including digital marketing, content development, social media management, web development, graphic design. Along with this, it will also provide opportunities to those people to work with the writers community.

learning opportunities to earn

Shanya Das, co-founder of Writers’ Community Freelancers, says that even today people in villages are forced to work for Rs 4 to 6 thousand per month. The condition of girls and women is even worse in terms of working opportunities. In states like Bihar, big companies are not able to establish themselves and people get only seasonal employment opportunities in sugar mills etc. In such a situation, the efforts of the writers’ community can prove to be successful and people can take advantage of it. Das told that his company should connect at least 10 people from each village with the writers community by paying a minimum of 10 thousand five hundred rupees per month, so that along with learning, employment opportunities can also be provided to them.
