Dr. Arif Alvi has said that there is a huge potential for promotion of religious tourism in Korea and Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to South Korea and Algeria called on President Dr. Arif Alvi separately.

Dr. Arif Alvi said that Pakistan seeks to enhance political, economic, public and cultural relations with Korea, and practical steps are needed to increase the trade volume between the two countries.

He said that Pakistan was an attractive place for investment due to its business and investor-friendly environment.

The President said that there is a huge potential for promotion of religious tourism in Korea and Pakistan and Korean tourists should be encouraged to visit the historical Buddhist religious sites in Pakistan.

Dr. Arif Alvi commended the Exim Bank of Korea for providing 88 88 million for IT Park in Islamabad and launching Samsung’s mobile phone manufacturing unit in Karachi.

The President emphasized the need for the exchange of parliamentary friendship groups between the two countries.

Later, Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Algeria Dr Muhammad Tariq also called on the President.

The President said that Pakistan and Algeria have friendly relations based on common religion and cultural values ​​and there is a need to enhance relations with Algeria in the field of IT.

He called on the Ambassador-designate to work with Algeria to promote the exchange of parliamentary and Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegations.

The President proposed to set up a joint business council between Pakistan and Algeria.
