Navjot Singh Sidhu is the first general whose target is not the enemy but his own army.

When the horses pull the chariot in a different direction, the chariot will break, the driver and the charioteer are sure to fall. Something similar is the condition of Punjab Congress. The dates for the assembly elections have been announced, but Navjot Singh Sidhu is the first general whose target is not the enemy but his own army. Navjot Singh Sidhu tweeted today, “A government that cannot bring justice to our guru, cannot punish those involved in the drug trade, I want to make it clear that I do not want any position. Either such a system will remain or Navjot Singh Sidhu.”

As the meeting regarding ticket distribution was about to begin in Delhi, Navjot Singh Sidhu once again made the dispute within the party public once again by going to the public platform for the second time. Even before this, Navjot Singh Sidhu had resigned from the post of Punjab Congress President through Twitter.

What do you want Sidhu?
Navjot Singh Sidhu held a press conference in Chandigarh and the special feature of that press conference was that there was a banner behind Sidhu on which was written “Punjab Model”. Nowadays, the entire politics of Navjot Singh Sidhu is revolving around this Punjab model. I mentioned this because Navjot Singh Sidhu wants a guarantee from the Congress high command to declare this Punjab model and the chief minister’s face. Navjot Singh Sidhu wants his Punjab model to be the manifesto of the Congress party and the Congress high command should guarantee him by declaring Navjot Singh Sidhu as the chief minister’s face with full power to implement the manifesto. If this is not done then Navjot Singh Sidhu will not campaign in the Punjab Assembly elections. He will sit at his home.

An interesting thing in the midst of all this is that only yesterday the Congress announced the Manifesto Committee and Navjot Singh Sidhu was not placed in the Manifesto Committee, so the stand of the high command is also almost clear that it neither cares about Sidhu’s Punjab model. Nor are they thinking of declaring the face of the Chief Minister before the elections.

Now the Congress has many questions in front of it. First, he contested the assembly elections or persuaded Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu. Second, annoy about 32 percent of the Dalit vote by saying that the Dalit Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who was appointed three months ago, should be removed.

When Congress had decided to give a Dalit Chief Minister in Punjab, all the big leaders of the party including Rahul Gandhi had said that Congress was the only party which made Dalit Chief Minister. Now the biggest challenge before the party is how to convince Sidhu? The message of the Dalit Chief Minister should also be there, that is, the snake should also die and the stick should not break.

Two days ago, Navjot Singh Sidhu had said that the Chief Minister will be decided by the people of Punjab, not the Congress high command. This is the same Navjot Singh Sidhu who was made the President of Punjab Congress by the Congress high command despite the opposition of MLAs and MPs and today the same Sidhu Congress high command is guaranteed to declare Sidhu as the Chief Minister’s face with the power to implement the Punjab model and manifesto. Wants, but the high command does not agree.

It was the decision of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi to remove Captain Amarinder Singh from the post of Chief Minister and make Charanjit Singh Channi the Chief Minister. In such a situation, if the Congress government is not formed in Punjab, then questions will arise on this decision of Rahul Gandhi within the party, which may also affect the election for the post of Congress President. This will be possible only when the general of the party will attack the enemy in the time of war. If such commander is targeted by his own army, then its far-reaching consequences can be negative.
