Violation of orders of Supreme Court, extension of deputation of Additional MS of Civil Hospital in the municipality

KARACHI (Babar Ali Awan / Staff Reporter) The Sindh government has extended the appointment and additional deputation of Dr. Abdul Hameed Jamani, Additional Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital, Karachi, as Senior Director, Medical and Health Services, one year, against the orders of the Supreme Court. Is. In this regard, a declaration has been issued according to which the deputation of Dr. Abdul Hameed Jamani, an employee of Sindh Health Department and Additional Medical Superintendent, 19th Grade, Civil Hospital, Karachi, has been extended for one year in connection with the Sindh Government’s announcement dated November 30, 2020. He is currently serving as Senior Director, Medical and Health Services, KMC Department, Local Government and HTP Department. It is to be noted that Senior Director Medical and Health Services is a post of 20th grade on which not only 19th grade officer has been posted but also on deputation from another department. Regarding deputation, there are clear orders of the Supreme Court which have been implemented and a large number of officers have been sent back to their original departments from other departments but now the government has started deputation again. This appointment has discouraged senior officers of KMC’s Department of Medical and Health Services and discredited their merits. In this regard, his spokesperson Farhat Imtiaz was contacted for two consecutive days to know the position of Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah but he said that he has not received any reply from Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah yet.
