ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on Rana Shamim’s request to form a commission of inquiry into allegations of interference in the judiciary.

The Chief Justice inquired from the petitioner’s counsel as to which bench he was referring to, which was constituted by someone else.

During the hearing, the lawyer argued that allegations were made against former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar in his affidavit. Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of the same High Court delivered a speech at Rawalpindi Bar.
