The date of the Gajrath festival, which is going to be held in the Kundalpur Jain pilgrimage area of Damoh, is yet to be decided. The event was proposed in the month of February. But in view of the ever-increasing corona infection, the temple committee stopped the entry of devotees in the temple premises. Now only after everything is fine, the date of the festival will be decided and the devotees will get entry.
The date will be decided when everything is normal
Sawan Singhai, the program coordinator of the festival, said that the infection is increasing continuously. The date will be decided only after everything is back to normal. Publicity Minister of Kundalpur Trust Committee Sunil Vegetarian told that due to infection the entry of devotees in the temple premises has been stopped. The corona test of all the devotees already present in the temple premises has been done. Only those people are in the service of the sages present in the temple. He says that keeping in mind the safety of Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj and many sages, the temple trust committee has taken this decision.
The temple trust had decided on January 5 that the entry of devotees into the temple would remain closed. Regarding this, the trust had conveyed this information to all the contacts of the Jain society that now no devotee should come to the temple. He will not be allowed entry. Pamphlets have also been installed at the main entrance of the temple complex. Entry to the temple is closed.
