Record positive business trend this week

KARACHI: The weekly report of Pakistan Stock Exchange and other currencies including dollar has been released in which a positive trend of business has been recorded this week.

According to the weekly report of Pakistan Stock Exchange, a positive trend of business was recorded this week while the 100 Index closed at 45,763 with an increase of 418 points.

The weekly high of the index stood at 46,220 while the weekly low of the index was recorded at 45,206. The market traded 1.77 billion shares in one week.

The weekly turnover of the shares market stood at Rs 44 billion while the market capitalization increased by Rs 74 billion to Rs 7,846 billion.


On the other hand, weekly report of dollar and other currencies has also been released according to which dollar has become 60 paise cheaper in the interbank market in one week.

According to the report, in a week, the dollar fell from Rs 176.67 to close at Rs 176.07 in the interbank market.

After the interbank market, the dollar fell by Rs 1.50 in the open market this week, while the dollar fell from Rs 179.50 to Rs 178 in the open market this week.

Other cornices

According to the report, the euro has risen by Rs 2 to Rs 203.50 this week, while the pound has risen by Rs 2.50 to a high of Rs 243.50.

In addition, the UAE dirham fell by Rs 1 to Rs 49.80 this week, while the Saudi riyal fell by 35 paise to Rs 46.95.
