Bajaj Finance shares continue to rally, up more than 9%
Shares of Bajaj Finance continued to rise on Thursday, climbing more than 9% after the company reported its highest quarterly net profit from April to June.
The stock jumped 9.46% to 6,999 rupees on BSE.
It rose 9.42% to Rs 6,999 on the NSE.
The stock was the top gainer on BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty in morning trading.
BSE’s 30-stock benchmark traded 824.22 points at 56,640.54 and Nifty was up 232.50 points at 16,874.30.
Bajaj Finance shares gained more than 2% on Wednesday after the earnings announcement.
Bajaj Finance reported its highest quarterly net profit of Rs 2,596 crore for the June quarter on Wednesday, helped by strong earnings.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 1,002 crore in the prior year period.
Total revenue in the quarter increased by 38% to Rs 9,283 crore from Rs 6,743 crore in the same period last year.
