Congress calls for Nirmala to be removed, Goyal comments on Sonia Gandhi

In a letter written to Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Friday, July 29, Rajya Sabha Opposition Leader Mallikarjuna Kharge demanded that MPs Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal withdraw comments by MPs Nirmala Sitharaman and Congress Speaker Sonia Gandhi. .

And in this letter, Rajya Sabha members are not allowed to make critical comments about Lok Sabha members. As these sacred clauses have been violated, Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal should apologize.

He continued, “This is against the law brought by Venkat Raman on April 5, 1987 when he was the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. I have mentioned this procedure to emphasize the sanctity of the sovereignty of each House of Parliament and its members.

Thus, mentioning and commenting on a member of the Lok Sabha in the Rajya Sabha is a complete violation of age-old conventions. Needless to say, as Speaker of this House, you must understand the need to respect well-established parliamentary traditions and practices.

Earlier, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary’s remark about President Draupadi Murmu as ‘Rashtra Pathini’ sparked controversy.
Adhir Ranjan has now apologized for those comments. In the explanation related to this, he mentioned that he did not post this word on purpose and the word came by mistake.
