Pune (dawn): A student died of a heart attack while hiking from Zambulwadi (Karle) at the foot of Raireshwar fort in Bhor taluka. The student is a 12th Agro student from Vidyaniketan Junior College, Sharda Nagar, Baramati.

The deceased boy’s name is Shubham Chopde (17) and Shubham is a student from Umbrat village in Karmala taluka. After his death, mourning spread throughout the village.

More information in this regard is that today (Friday) morning 46 students and teachers from the school went trekking from Baramati to Raireshwar fort, Shubham Chopde was trekking with a friend around 9.30am to 10.00am . While hiking, he suddenly suffered a massive heart attack. He was admitted to Ambwade Primary Health Center. But he died before the treatment. Doctors pronounced him dead.

His death left his family in mourning. It is therefore advisable not to go trekking without full knowledge and without having yourself checked and trained. Shubham is from Umbrat village in Karmala taluk and came to Baramati for education. His death is mourned.
