Famous television and film actor Rasik Dave died at 8 p.m. Friday. He breathed his last in Mumbai. Rasik Dave was known for his character ‘Nanda’ in ‘Mahabharata’. Apart from this he has acted in many Gujarati dramas, Gujarati movies and many serials. Apart from all this, he was the husband of famous actress Ketaki Dave. He had been on dialysis for almost two years and had to go to the hospital three times a week.

Rasik Dave has been on dialysis at a hospital in Mumbai for over two years. Both of his kidneys were failing. He used to go to the hospital three times a week for treatment, but in recent days his condition had worsened. He is being treated in a hospital in Mumbai. Rasik Dave has not only acted in many Gujarati plays and films but has also directed and produced many Gujarati plays.

Filmmaker Ashok Pandit informed about Rasik Dave’s death by tweeting. In his tweet, he wrote: “Deeply saddened to announce the passing of versatile TV and film actor and dear friend Rasik Dave due to kidney failure. Our condolences to his wife Ketki Dave and his family. You will always remember.

Rasik Dave was last seen in the series ‘Sanskar-Dharohar Apna Ki’ on ‘Colors TV’. He played the role of Karsandas Dhansukhlal Vaishnav in this series. Apart from that, Rasik Dave had previously worked in Sony TV’s longest running series “Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka”. The show is considered to be the first Hindi show to complete 1000 episodes. He also worked in the famous show ‘Vyomkesh Bakshi’ on Doordarshan. The show was based on the story of a famous detective.
