But Lahore Zoo is very large. It covers 142 hectares. There are many wild animals in this animal museum. It houses 40 lions and this is the biggest feature of this wildlife museum.
The management has decided to sell the lions because the cost of maintaining them is high. The management decided to increase the museum’s income by selling the lions. Last year, 14 lions were sold to the zoological museum citing limited space.
