Sangli: On the Independence Day of Amritmahotsav, people salute by hoisting the large tricolor flag

On the anniversary year of India’s Independence Day, a 100ft long and 67ft wide tricolor was hoisted in Shirala on Saturday. Citizens and students held a rally today to raise awareness about ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. Three thousand students participated in this rally in the pouring rain.
