Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid has said that Nawaz Sharif should return home if he considers himself a leader.
Dr. Rashid attended Al-Hamra Hall under the auspices of the Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care as a special guest at the “Ainak Walakoruna Jin” show where he presented commemorative shields to Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, Special Secretary Saleha Saeed and Director Special Education Pervez Butt.
Addressing the audience on the occasion, Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Yasmeen Rashid said that I congratulate the Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Imran Sikandar Baloch and his team for spreading awareness about the importance of vaccination among the people.
He said that Arona Wala Korona, whose characters have done their best to spread awareness about vaccination among the people in a brilliant manner, has completely vaccinated 53% of the population of Punjab thanks to the grace of God and the wishes of Health Department.
The provincial health minister said that the rate of positive cases of corona in Punjab is 0.3 per cent, adding that 86 million people of Punjab have been vaccinated against corona.
Dr. Yasmeen Rashid said that during the second phase of Reach Every Dorexation Campaign, they are trying their best to vaccinate 70% of the population of Punjab.
He said that 8 state-of-the-art mother and child hospitals were being set up in Punjab while Prime Minister Imran Khan was going to distribute New Pakistan National Health Cards to all 30 million families of Punjab from January 1.
Yasmeen Rashid said that more and more public and private hospitals are being selected in Punjab for New Pakistan National Health Card while Madaram Child Block with 650 beds is also being constructed in Gangaram Hospital Lahore. Will
