Former Test cricketer Tauseef Ahmed has said that if former captain Sarfraz Ahmed had wanted, Fawad Alam could have played in the national team under his leadership.
Speaking on Geo News program score, Tauseef Ahmed said that Sarfraz Ahmed was an incompetent captain, however he was definitely a good captain, under whose leadership the national team also gave good results.
He said that he did not exercise his powers properly and in a timely manner, which made his affairs worse, and he could not defend his position despite being a good and standard captain.
He revealed that Fawad Alam could have played if Sarfraz Ahmed had wanted, Sarfraz had included Saad Ali in the team.
