A villager has died after being hit by an IED bomb laid by the Maoists in the Chapal forest of Serengadag police station area on the border of Gumla and Lohardaga districts. While a policeman and another villager are injured. The deceased has been identified as Supal Turi, a resident of Hesag village. He had gone towards the forest to graze cattle, in this sequence he came under the IED bomb.

After the information of IED blast in the border area, the police of Gumla district has become fully alert. On the instructions of the SP, the team of Ghaghra and Bishunpur has been fully alerted. At the same time, search operation is also being conducted by Gumla and Lohardaga police.
