Tremors were felt in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The magnitude of the earthquake was 2.3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred on Tuesday morning at 11:7 am. Its epicenter was at a depth of 10 km underground in Kullu. According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there was no damage due to the earthquake. Its intensity was 2.3 on the Richter scale.

On 4 April 1995, Kangra was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8. This earthquake caused havoc.
