Delhi Corona Updates: The rate of corona infection has increased rapidly in Delhi in recent times. Yesterday i.e. on Thursday, 1313 new patients of corona infection were found all over Delhi. At the same time, after these new cases surfaced on Thursday, the rate of spread of corona in Delhi has now reached 1.73 percent. This is the highest rate of increase of corona in the last seven months. Earlier on May 26, 1491 people were infected with corona, while the positive rate was recorded at 1.93 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 75953 people were screened. In these tests, 68590 RT-PCR, CBNAAT, TrueNat test and 7365 rapid antigen test were done. After the patients found from these tests, now the number of corona infection patients in Delhi has increased to 1446415. At the same time, according to the Health Department, about 14.2 lakh of these patients have been cured.

According to the news published in Times of India, 423 corona patients have been cured in Delhi so far. Nevertheless, the number of active patients in Delhi has crossed three thousand. On Wednesday, the number of active corona patients in Delhi was 2191, while on Thursday this figure reached 3081. Out of these Kovid patients, 189 people are being treated in different hospitals of Delhi, while 1560 of them are being treated in home isolation.
The number of corona infected has increased rapidly in the last six days. The figures recorded in these six days are the highest among the figures recorded in the last six months. While 923 cases were registered in Delhi on Wednesday, 496 on Tuesday, 331 on Monday, 290 on Sunday, 249 on Saturday and 180 on Friday.
So many beds are vacant in Delhi hospitals for the treatment of corona patients.
In the bulletin of the Health Department of Delhi Government, it was told that 8853 beds have been made for the treatment of corona infected patients in Delhi. Out of these, 8644 beds are still vacant. Whereas according to the online corona dashboard, 2770 coronas have been infected so far for the treatment of patients, out of which 2727 are still empty. While 1358 out of 1379 ICU ventilator beds are vacant.
At the same time, an increase has been seen in the Corona Containment Zone as compared to Wednesday. There were 500 containment zones across Delhi on Wednesday, which increased to 645 on Thursday.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said in a press conference that, “The Delhi government is ready to use all available resources to deal with Kovid-19 cases. On the other hand, he said about its prevention, “Search yourself from the virus.” To avoid this, wear a mask and follow social distancing.
