The number of new cases of Omicron variants of Corona Virus in the country is continuously increasing. So far more than 1200 infected people have been confirmed in the country. In Maharashtra, 198 infected people of Omicron have been reported in the last 24 hours. There itself Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain says that now the community spread of Omicron has started in the capital.

According to the information of the Ministry of Health The total number of Omicron cases in the country rose to 1,270. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of 450 and 320 cases of Omicron. Out of 1,270 patients on Omicron, 374 have recovered.

Maharashtra on Thursday reported 198 new cases of the Omicron variant, including 190 in Mumbai alone, taking the number of cases of this latest coronavirus variant in the state to 450. In view of the ever-increasing cases, the Maharashtra government has issued a new guideline in the state.

Another new infection of Omicron has been found in Andhra Pradesh. It is being told that this 52-year-old patient had come to Bangalore from the United Arab Emirates. When it was examined, it was confirmed to be Omicron in genome sequencing. So far, 17 patients of the new variant have appeared here.

On Thursday, 5 new cases of Omicron were found in West Bengal. With this, there have been 16 cases of Omicron so far.

The first case of Omicron variant has been reported in the country on 2 December and its number has reached close to 1200. Health Ministry’s Joint Secretary Lav Aggarwal told in a press conference on Thursday that more than 3.30 lakh cases of Omicron have been reported in 121 countries of the world. 59 people have also died.
