Cricket News: Team India’s star spinner Harbhajan Singh has once again come into the limelight after retiring. Harbhajan Singh has been a member of the 2011 World Cup winning team. After that he did not get a chance to play much for the team. Harbhajan played 10 Tests and 10 One Day Internationals in the 2011 World Cup. Harbhajan did not like the way of being dropped from the team. Even after talking to Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, there was no specific reply. Before Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh’s father has also made such allegations against Dhoni.
Harbhajan said on a TV channel that ‘I also tried to ask captain Dhoni many times about his return to the team, but did not get the answer. Then I felt that if one thing is being ignored even after being asked repeatedly, then it should be left. Harbhajan Singh was selected in the team after the 2011 World Cup, but got very little chance to play in the playing XI.
Bhajji was included in Team India for the 2016 T20 World Cup, but was not made a part of the playing XI. Harbhajan Singh has played a total of 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20 Internationals for Team India.
