New Delhi: Shares of Electricity closed with gains in Friday’s session.

Indo Tech Transformers (up 5.28%), Indowind Energy (up 4.97%), RTNPOWER (up 4.96%), Energy Development Company (up 4.92%), Karma Energy (up 4.91%), Orient Green Power Company (up 4.86%), Suzlon Energy (up 4.62%), NTL (up 4.29%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures (up 4.20%) and Reliance Power (3.82%) were among the top gainers.

KKV Agro (down 4.90%), NTPC (down 1.97%), Inox Wind (down 1.62%), NLC India (down 1.59%), Voltamp Transformers (down 1.58%), Transformers & Rectifiers (India) (down 1.53%) , DPSC (down 1.17%), Hitachi Energy India (down 1.16%), NHPC (down 0.96%) and Jyothi Structures (down 0.84%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty 50 index closed 150.1 points higher at 17354.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed 459.5 points higher at 58253.82.

Hindalco Industries (up 5.76%), Titan Company Limited (up 3.49%), UltraTech Cement (up 2.62%), Tata Motors (up 2.55%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 2.33%), Shree Cement (up 2.17%), Tata Consumer Products (up 2.12%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 1.98%), Maruti Suzuki (1.98%) and State Bank of India (up 1.94%) were the top losers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, NTPC (down 1.97%), Cipla (down 0.91%), Tech Mahindra (down 0.52%), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 0.46%), Infosys (down 0.27%) and Coal India (down 0.1%). %) closed in red.
