The cases of corona in Mumbai (Mumbai Covid Cases) are increasing continuously. Talking about the last 24 hours, 6347 new Kovid cases have been registered in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra on Saturday. Whereas a day earlier this figure was up to 5631. Accordingly, 12 percent cases have increased in a day. At the same time, if we talk about Maharashtra (Maharashtra Corona Cases), 9170 new cases of corona have been reported in the state on Saturday and 7 patients have died due to infection. Apart from this, 7 new cases of Omicron have been reported. If we talk about the total cases of Omicron in the state, then there have been 460 cases. Corona cases are increasing in the whole of Maharashtra including Mumbai amidst all the restrictions. The government had made all arrangements for the celebration of Christmas and New Year. However, due to the Kovid restrictions, there was silence in some places. Out of which Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Dadar, Girgaum and Juhu Beach were almost deserted, as police have been strictly deployed under Section-144 on these places and roads. Kovid cases were also seen in Mumbai on Friday. On Friday, 5,631 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Mumbai.

On Friday, an increase of about 53 percent was seen in new cases of infection compared to Thursday. Whereas on Friday, 1 patient died of corona. Earlier on December 30, 3671 cases had come. In this sense, 1960 had increased on 31 December, whereas today 716 new cases have come. However, fewer cases have been reported as compared to yesterday.

Let us inform you that in view of the prevailing situation of corona virus and the spread of Omicron variant, Mumbai Police on Friday issued an order between 5 pm to 5 am daily till January 15 on beaches, open fields, gardens or other similar places. Going to public places has been banned.
