The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a new order regarding flights to Pakistan from abroad, which will come into effect from January 5.
The CAA has decided to remove the Category B and Category C list of prohibited countries. PCR test is required for passengers arriving from abroad 48 hours before the flight.
According to the new order, rapid antigen test has been made mandatory for passengers arriving in Pakistan from European countries. Passengers will be kept in quarantine centers for 10 days if the Corona test is positive.
The order states that quarantine passengers will be required to bear their own expenses at the hotel or at a designated place.
It may be recalled that on December 14 last year, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) had extended the travel permit for two months without a full dose of corona vaccination for foreign travelers.
