At the same time, 84 doctors have been found infected so far in Patna’s Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH). There has been a stir in the entire capital including NMCH due to the number of infected doctors found together. NMCH Medical Superintendent Dr Binod Kumar Singh said on Monday, “The reports of 72 more doctors of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in Patna have come corona positive.

According to Dr Binod Kumar Singh, Medical Superintendent of NMCH, a sample of 194 people was taken from the medical college on Sunday, in which the report of 72 doctors together has come positive. Earlier on Saturday, 12 doctors were found infected. In this way, 84 doctors have been infected in NMCH so far. This has raised the apprehension that the corona has exploded in the patients, staff and surroundings being treated in the hospital and many people can be affected by it.

Now the biggest challenge before the hospital management is that the doctors whose reports have come positive were on duty and were in contact with the medical staff as well as the patients. In such a situation, patients and their families should be identified and examined so that it can be known that under which variant of corona these people are ill. Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh said that there is no need to panic. Mild symptoms of corona have been found in doctors. Arrangements have been made for them to stay in quarantine in the hospital campus itself.
