Large-scale sports and recreational activities are not only a means of improving the health of society, but also a way of shaping one’s personality. This was stated by Ashida Noori, Deputy Consul General of Japan, while addressing a seminar on “Leisure, Sports, Action and Society” organized by Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council and Sports Department, Government of Sindh.
Special guests on the occasion were Rehan Mehtab-ud-Din Chawla, Chairman Al-Ikram Towel Industries, Syed Nasir Wajahat, Farhan Ashrafi, Aman Pir, Zahid Karani, Manzar Naqvi, Saleem Afridi, Riaz-ud-Din Commentator, Rashid Naseem World Record Holder, Dr. Hiralal Lohano, Shamim Bazal. Shaheen Musoor, Sajid Ali Abbasi General Secretary Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council, Wasimuddin Finance Secretary, Muhammad Zeeshan Captain Asian Champion Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team, Rukhsana Rajput Chairperson Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council and more than 150 students were also present. ۔
Ashida Noori added that reading, work activity, interactions with other people, and sports are born.
Rehan Mehtabuddin Chawla said that physical activity teaches you to submit your interests to commanders, to follow established principles and to respect the enemy. Riaz-ud-Din said that physical education improves intellectual performance.
Dr. Hira Lal Lohano said that a long and healthy life is achieved by taking care of hygiene. Rukhsana Rajput said that I sincerely thank Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh for Sports Arbab Lutfullah and Secretary Sports Youth Affairs Akhtar Inayat Bhargari for organizing one day seminar in Karachi and their cooperation will continue forever. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the students participating in the seminar by the Sports Department, Government of Sindh.
