Winter holidays end in Sindh, schools reopen

Winter holidays across Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur are over. Schools opened. Holidays extended in Azad Kashmir

Waves of fun and sightseeing took a break. After the winter holidays in Sindh, the teaching process started from today. Schools reopened, and classes began in colleges.

The education department has decided that the winter holidays will not be extended. No consideration is being given to increasing the winter holidays.

On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, a new rain system has entered the country. Rains and snowfall are expected in mountainous areas from Karachi to Azad Kashmir this week.

The Meteorological Department has also indicated that there will be more than normal and record rains this year and hail may fall in Karachi. Due to expected weather and rains, parents have also demanded increase in winter vacations from Sindh Education Department.

Meanwhile, winter vacations in public and private educational institutions of Azad Kashmir have been extended for another five days. The decision to extend the holiday was made due to severe cold.

The winter vacation in public and private educational institutions of Azad Kashmir was till January 1. Following the extension of the holidays, educational institutions will now open on January 10.
